De Lijn – Activatie De Sint

De Lijn, the Belgian public transport company, wanted to do something fun for the arrival of Sinterklaas in the centre of Antwerp. Every year the centre is packed with young families, waiting to see if they can catch a glimpse of Sinterklaas. Public transport is the only way to really get to the centre that day.

This year we decided to make vending machines that look like Sinterklaas. Children could sing, like they use to do for our old man, and in return they got a free ticket to use on bus/tram. In this way children were -even more- completely warmed up and ready to meet Sinterklaas.
