For the European Parliament, the European Elections represent the most crucial moment in a five-year cycle. Alongside this, the campaign urging people to vote holds big importance. In the charged political climate of 2024, casting a vote -and thereby upholding democracy- is more important than ever. Our message: Use your vote -or others will decide for you. A short documentary stressed the importance of voting and protecting democracy, driving the message home.
To address one of the main reasons why people don’t vote -forgetting the date- we rolled our reminders in many ways: on building facades, at events, on buses, in airports, on Tinder, and through customizable posters. People even got a free ride to the voting booths using Lime. The message was seen everywhere, in all of Europe, through the line ‘we put it here so you can put it in your calendar’. And for those who still missed these messages, we projected the date onto iconic European landmarks like the Colosseum and the Arc de Triomphe.
